High- und Low-Gain models
Supernova-screens are also available in Gain-Version, depending on the application.
Low Gain
The gain factor in this version was reduced to 0,8 to make sure that the illumination of the screen is even. As a result a perfectly homogenous Image is created. Fans of home cinemas will take much pleasure from a screen like this. Your ideal insight angle of ± 85° is optimized for both rooms and many viewers. Ans an ideal insight angle of ± 180° is also guaranteed.
High Gain
The High Gain Version of the Supernova offers high-contrast even in high ambient light environments. The gain factor 2,3 makes sure that the brightness is ideal. In addition, the revolutionary technology ensures a contrast ration that is 10 times higher that in conventional projection screens and prevents blooming and annoying "Hot Spots". The optimal experience is ± 23°. Overall, the insight angle of 180°guaranteed.

The Imaging Science Foundation is an independent research laboratory, which has set themselves the task to maximize image quiality through standardization of color calibrations.
