Cascadable 4K2K Multiformat-Extender / Transceiver

The Transceiver (transmitter and receiver in one unit) is a cascadable, 4K multiformat extender for various AV signals, Ethernet and control commands. Using HDBaseT technology, DaisyNET II can distribute these signals via a CAT cable over a distance of up to 100 meters from device to device without quality loss or any visible latency.
The Transceiver features three AV inputs: 1x HDMI, 1x DisplayPort and 1x analog RGB (VGA) plus analog stereo audio and two Ethernet ports. The HDMI output is located on the rear and show the selected source. An analog audio output jack delivers the de-embedded stereo audio signal from the HDMI output.
Upto 32 units can be daisy chain, operation is in bus- or ring-topology.
In ring-topology shows all Transceivers the selected source on their local HDMI output.
With the grouping mode operates dividable conference rooms independent or as one big room.
Each transceiver has three Phoenix connectors for external contact closures which allows the user to select one of the front inputs directly. With the ShowMe connector, or the button at the front, you “toggle” between the inputs where a source is connected (auto-switching feature). Illuminated pushbuttons (LEDs) can be connected to visualize the active input.
The configuration, e.g. the EDID management, is done by web interface.
The Transceiver can power sinks by RS-232 or CEC up and down automatically as soon as the first source is connected or the last source is disconnected. The unit can also be used as Telnet to RS-232 gateway.
